Internet Gambling makes Shipping Ports unsafe

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/13/AR2006101300147.html?nav=rss_politics

Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act attached to a port security bill, was sponsored by Rep. Robert W. Goodlatte (R-Va.), http://www.house.gov/goodlatte/; a blowhard who equates online poker playing to money laundering, drug trafficking and TERRORIST FINANCING.

Somehow the legitimacy of PUBLICLY traded companies providing a service such as BetOnSports, http://google.com/finance?cid=696708 is in question because they support gambling which Mr. Goodlatte (Good Latte - I don't even want to go there) vehemetly opposes.

I guess the Online Gambling industry did not contribute to his campaign as much as the agricultural industry. http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/contrib.asp?CID=N00009154&cycle=2006

Annie Duke for Congress!

I really appreciate how this congressman from Virgina has reached into my livingroom and eliminated my ability to enjoy online gambling, yet doesn't put forth the effort to stop the lottery in the State he represents.
